- Category: food and dining guide
Premios Summum is Peru's most established restaurant awards program, and its 2026 edition was held on October 1, 2026 at the Puericultorio Pérez Aranibar in Magdalena del Mar, Lima, under the theme of Mestizaje. The results come from an online survey by Ipsos Perú among more than 900 expert panelists, carried out between June 30 and July 15, 2026, and they produce a Top 20 of Peru's best restaurants plus rankings by category. In 2026, La Mar took first place in the Top 20, followed by Osaka Nikkei and Astrid & Gastón, and the winners by category included Titi (chifa), Isolina (Creole cuisine), Troppo (Italian), El Charrúa (meats and grills), Sapiens (open-flame cooking), El Chinito (sandwiches), Primos Chicken Bar (rotisserie chicken) and, among new restaurants, Bruto. Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino received the Recognition for Mestizaje. For a visitor deciding where to eat, the lists below are a locally trusted shortlist. Each category shows its winner first, followed by the finalists, and the names that have their own page on our site link to it. Cusco and Arequipa have their own top 10 lists, too.
