Fiesta Restaurant Gourmet

Four decades of northern Peruvian cuisine, ranked among Latin America's best.

  • Address: Av. Reducto 1278
  • District: Miraflores
  • Cuisine: Northern Peruvian (Chiclayo / Lambayeque)
  • Chef / group: Chef Hector Solis

Fiesta is chef Héctor Solís's tribute to the cuisine of Chiclayo and Lambayeque in Peru's north, the Lima outpost of a Chiclayo institution founded in 1983. The kitchen is famous for arroz con pato a la chiclayana, cabrito stew and ceviche grilled over hot coals, made with ingredients Solís sources from his own farm in the north and seafood flown in fresh from Trujillo, so that the regional recipes stay authentic. It is a lunch-focused restaurant, open only until about 6 pm, with a formal but unpretentious dining room, a private room and a well-stocked wine wall. It is best suited to travelers who already enjoy coastal Peruvian food and want to try its northern, less-touristed variant, and it comes from the same chef as La Picantería. Fiesta ranked #11 in the Top 20 of Peru's best restaurants at the Premios Summum 2026 and #6 in Creole Cuisine, after being listed among Latin America's best restaurants by Opinionated About Dining for three consecutive years. It is at Av. Reducto 1278, Miraflores.

Why we chose it

  • Ranked among Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants (Opinionated About Dining) for three straight years, not a one-off honor.
  • The Lima outpost of a Chiclayo institution founded in 1983 -- decades of specialization in one regional cuisine, not a generalist Peruvian menu.
  • Much of the seafood is flown in from Trujillo/the north specifically to keep the regional recipes authentic, not adapted to Lima ingredients.
